ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The doctor succinctly gave her diagnosis to the author.

“I have what?” asked the author. He found it difficult to be among those diagnosed with the dreaded “C” word.  The “C” word meant death to him.  What now?

The author is currently in treatment for cancer.  He prays to be a cancer survivor.  Good progress was made.  Then a relapse set his condition back by months of healing.  The author’s doctors are recalibrating his treatment plan.  Prayers are appreciated.

What now though?

You are invited to help the author make a very special contribution to our American legacy.  The author has formed Art & Legacy. Art & Legacy presents unique book-to-movie projects called Heritage Projects.  Heritage Projects are significant contributions to our American culture and to the world.  Heritage Projects will put artists to work.  Heritage Projects are a continuation of the goals of past artists for our culture.

Your contribution is needed to help the author make these cherished goals a reality.  Purchase of e-books will begin financing of the book-to-movie projects.

The author was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1966.  The author’s artistic interests were encouraged at an early age.  He was educated in the public school system.  He graduated from Anna Stuart Dupuy Elementary school in 1980 where the author participated in poetry, music and art.  He graduated from C. W. Hayes High school in 1984 where the author continued his interest in music and advanced to architectural design.  He graduated from Bessemer State Technical College in 1994 with a degree in Accounting.  He began work in Accounting shortly after graduation.  He was accepted into the Master's in Accounting program at Samford University.

The author is currently disabled.  Most of his work was completed before his disability.  Purchases of current works will make the completion of all art goals possible.  Financing through purchases will allow the author to concentrate solely on his artworks.

Art & Legacy aspires to create one major movie every two years which implements technical, social and cultural complexity. Education and job creation are the goals. An enhanced website to help artists is also a goal.

The stages of development are:

  1. Sale of e-books and reviews of e-books

  2. Use sales of e-books to create the enhanced e-books which will demand use of models, actors, voice-actors, digital artists and musicians.

  3. Secure the financing for the movie projects.

What exactly is artistry though? Art & Legacy defines artistry as "tastefully and skillfully" made. All Art & Legacy stories have profound social issues woven into each story's genre whether drama, sci-fi or fantasy. Get ready to be refreshed and fascinated!
